CULTURE

Midway Church was started 40 years ago by five families passionate about seeing their community come to Christ. Our heart for the gospel permeates every aspect of our ministry (now our average attendance is over 900): Our heart's desires is to "Help People Live Fully for God" as we:

  • CONNECT to Him in spiritual life, discipleship, and others in the biblical community.

  • GROW daily in our personal devotion and commitment to Kingdom life.

  • SERVE others with our time, talents, and treasure.

  • GO out into our community and the world with the good news of the gospel.

We place high value on spiritual transformation, grace-filled truth, prayerful reliance, intentional relationships, and generational involvement.

“Our church culture values children and families by delivering an awesome, welcoming experience every time we walk through the doors, planning events and supporting small groups for families and by creating a fun environment for my kids to learn God’s Word!”

COMMUNITY

Located at 9540 US-377, Midway Church sits midway between the communities of Aubrey and Pilot Point (see what we did there?). The community has grown to become one of the USA’s premier equine epicenters. Situated just one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, this growing community still has its roots in agriculture with a contemporary feeling. Midway has great relationships in the community with open doors into the schools, the civic arena, local businesses, and area churches. This ties directly into one of our values – We are good neighbors to all.

CALLING

God has called us to ensure that every person in our sphere of influence has an opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel. This drives us to be intentional with our programming and outreach. From an early age, we instill a love for Jesus and God’s Word into children’s lives. We partner with parents to keep Christ the central part of homes, and we connect intentionally in our community to make this a part of our everyday DNA.

Our ministry team is made up of people who love God and want to fulfill their calling by serving together to accomplish great things. We are looking for ministry team members who have this same heart to join us.
